This recipe of Breakfast Granola Yogurt Bowls is one of my favorite healthy meals. It’s perfect as a nutritious breakfast, light lunch, middle of the day snack or while watching tv late night snack. What I love about yogurt bowls is how versatile they are, you can use any type of yogurt, skyr, fruits, seeds, nuts, chocolate, granola, nut butters you want. And it all comes together in one bowl as a creamy and delicious meal in just 5-10 minutes!

How To Make These Breakfast Granola Yogurt Bowls?

I always start by gathering all of the ingredients needed in a recipe and weighing and measuring everything before I start to cook or bake. This part is really important and key in keeping everything organized.

To make these breakfast granola yogurt bowls is super easy. You start by putting the yogurt in bowls then you add the granola, berries, chia seeds and peanut butter.

Serve and enjoy immediately!

Notes + Substitutions

Greek Yogurt – Most of the times I use Greek yogurt in my breakfast bowls but sometimes I use Icelandic skyr instead. You can use any type of yogurt or skyr you want.

Granola – In this recipe I used my FAV type of granola with little pieces of dark chocolate and red berries. It’s delicious. But you can use any type of store bought or homemade granola.

Berries/fruit – I usually always include some type of fresh berries and or fruit in my yogurt bowls. You could also try adding either fried or freeze dried berries and or fruit.

Chia Seeds – I love to add chia seeds but you can use any other type of seeds instead. You could also try adding nuts.

Peanut Butter – I always add natural peanut butter to my yogurt bowls. It’s super delicious! You can also use almond butter or any other type of nut butter instead.

Topping Suggestions

You can top a breakfast yogurt bowl with pretty much anything but here’s a list of my topping ideas and suggestions.

Fruit: (Either fresh or dried) Berries, apples, avocado, bananas, cherries, oranges, kiwis, mangos, melons, papaya, passion fruit, peach, pears, pineapple, pomegranate seeds, dried coconut flakes, shredded coconut.

Nuts + Seeds: almonds flakes, chia seeds, sesame seeds, chopped nuts of choice, sunflower seeds, flaxseed, pumpkin seeds.

Other Toppings: Nut butters, chocolate chips, chopped chocolate, cacao nibs, maple syrup, honey.

Ingredients

Scale

250 gr / 1 cup greek yogurt of choice
3 tbsp granola of choice
Handful berries of choice, sliced
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp natural peanut butter

Instructions

Place the yogurt in a bowl. Feel free to use more or less depending on your desire.

Add granola, berries, chia seeds and peanut butter.

Serve and enjoy immediately.
