This Vegan Chocolate Mousse has strong chocolate flavors and is seriously creamy and delicious. It’s very quick and comes together in under 15 minutes. And it’s ready to serve RIGHT AWAY from making it. You can also make it in advance and store in the refrigerator covered until ready to serve.

Whether you are vegan or not, this is definitely a recipe for everybody. You can use cream of choice. Oat whipping cream is perfect for this recipe. But regular cream would work as well.

This Vegan Chocolate Mousse recipe is especially perfect if you want something FAST to satisfy your chocolate cravings or a simple dessert.

It’s great on its own but you can top it with toppings of choice for example:

-Chocolate curls

-Cocoa powder

-Whipped cream

-Cherries

-Fruits

-Berries

-Sprinkles

Creamy and delicious Vegan Chocolate Mousse. Chocolate mousse doesn’t get any easier than this recipe here!

  • Author: Inga
  • Prep Time: 15 mins
  • Total Time: 15 mins
  • Yield: 4

Ingredients

175 gr / 1 cup vegan dark chocolate
1-2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
250 gr / 1 cup dairy free whipping cream (I used oat)

Garnish
Chocolate curls

Instructions

Melt together dark chocolate and cocoa powder in the microwave stirring every 30 seconds or over a double boiler until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.

Whip the whipping cream and before it reaches stiff peaks add in the chocolate mixture and continue whipping until still peaks forms.

If topping with cream: Leave a few spoonful’s left of the cream to top the mousse with before serving.

Divide the mousse between individual dessert glasses or jars. Serve right away or cover and refrigerate until serving.

Before serving top with remaining whipped cream and chocolate curls or cocoa powder.

Notes

You can also use semi sweet chocolate or 70% chocolate instead of vegan dark chocolate.
