Make These Sticky Coca Cola Chicken Wings
I always start by gathering all of the ingredients needed in a recipe and weighing and measuring everything before I start to cook or bake. This part is really important and key in keeping everything organized.
- To make these sticky coca cola chicken wings you start by preheating the oven to 175C / 350F.
- Then you cut the wings into wingettes and drumettes. Season with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish.
- Combine the brown sugar, Coke Zero and soy sauce in a medium saucepan over high heat until boiling.
- Stir the cornstarch and water together in a small bowl, then stir it into the boiling sauce until combined and lump free.
- Boil the sauce for 3-5 minutes until it has thickened and turned into a glaze.
- Pour the glaze over the chicken wings and turn them until well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes or until the glaze is sticky. Turn the wings about halfway done.
- Once cooked, take out of the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
