How To Make This Pepperoni Parmesan Pizza Pasta?
I always start by gathering all of the ingredients needed in a recipe and weighing and measuring everything before I start to cook or bake. This part is really important and key in keeping everything organized.
To make this Pepperoni Parmesan Pizza Pasta you start by cooking the pasta according to package instructions.
Then you cook the onion in a dutch oven over medium high heat until soft.
Stir in garlic and pepperoni and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Then you add the pizza sauce, cream of mushroom soup, italian seasoning and dried oregano.
Then you add the pasta and grated parmesan cheese. Mix together until everything is well combined.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serve and garnish with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley.
How To Store This Pepperoni Parmesan Pizza Pasta?
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Recipe Notes:
Pasta – The best type of pasta to use in this recipe is any short pasta, (penne, fusilli, casarecce, cavatappi, farfalle, rigatoni)
Cream of mushroom soup – You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for any other cream of soup.
Cheese – I use grated Parmesan cheese in this recipe but any other type of melting cheese works fine. I have tried using shredded mozzarella in this recipe and it turned out great. Makes the sauce slightly thicker and stickier though.
Add Ins – This recipe is great for using up whatever meats and vegetables you have in your refrigerator. And seeing as this is a pizza flavored recipe it’s perfect for using your favorite pizza toppings.
It would be delicious to add in or substitute any of the following examples:
Mushrooms, Olives, ham, bacon, pineapple, artichokes, jalapenos, chilis, ground beef, chicken, bell pepper.
