Mediterranean Tuna Feta Salad

If you happen to love tuna like me then this Mediterranean Tuna Feta Salad gives you a delicious salad that has the texture of fresh, crunchy and soft all together in one bowl. Tuna is one of those foods that you either love or hate. And I happen to love it!

This salad is made from many of my favorite things like canned tuna in oil, feta cheese, olives (I used black but green work as well), fresh cucumber, red bell pepper, (again, any color works here as well), and fresh lettuce leaves to give it that salad feeling. You could add in sliced red onion and or minced garlic to this salad as well.

How To Serve This Mediterranean Tuna Feta Salad?


I serve it as lunch or as a lighter dinner. It can also be served as an appetizer before a meal or side salad with a meal.

If You don’t have lettuce?

Any greens, spinach, kale or salad mix goes perfectly with this salad.

Do I need any dressing?

No you don‘t. The olive oil and seasoning is plenty enough to make this salad as yummy as it is. BUT if you wan‘t, you could serve it with a dressing. Any dressing or sauce works well with this salad.

Delicious Mediterranean Tuna Feta Salad that is so quick and easy to make. I love the Mediterranean flavors of tuna, feta cheese, olives and fresh vegetables. It doesn’t need a dressing but if you want you can serve it with your favorite sauce or dressing.

Ingredients

Scale

125 gr / 4 oz lettuce leaves or salad mix
200 gr / 7 oz cherry tomatoes, cut in half
½ cucumber, cubed
½ red bell pepper, cubed
2 cans tuna in oil, drained
60 gr / ½ cup black olives, sliced
60 gr / ½ cup cubed feta cheese, or crumbled
1 tbsp oregano or Italian seasoning
3 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Roughly chop the lettuce.

Mix all of the ingredients above together in a bowl until combined.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve right away.

Notes

This salad is best served on the same day as it’s made.
