I love these easy to make Low Carb Prosciutto Chips that you can snack on any time of the day. These baked low carb prosciutto chips are perfectly salty, high in protein and perfect for crumbling over foods and salads. Or simply as a paleo / keto / low carb snack. You can even serve them with your favorite dipping sauce.

When I was studying culinary in London there was a grocery store I shopped at called M&S and I often bought baked prosciutto or salami chips. I loved them because they made a healthy low carb no sugar snack and since I’ve always loved deli meats and salty things I thought it was the perfect snack.

I haven’t been able to find this type of snack here in Iceland, so I decided I’d make my own homemade version of it. And it turned out to be super delicious!

I hope you enjoy this low carb prosciutto chips recipe as much as I do. And if you make it be sure to leave a comment and/or give it a rating! I’d also love to hear from you on Instagram and see what you make. So if you do, don’t forget to tag @alaingablog

Ingredients

Scale

1 package prosciutto/parma ham

Instructions

Preheat oven to 175C / 350F

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place in a single layer on the baking sheet tearing the slices into smaller pieces. But not too small as they shrink when cooking. 1 slice in approx 3 pieces.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crunchy. Careful of burning.

Transfer the chips to a wire rack to cool completely. They crisp up as they cool.

Store chips in an airtight container or Ziplock bag in the refrigerator.
