This Homemade Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning is super easy to make and my go to seasoning for all things chicken. It’s great on seafood and vegetables as well. It has the perfect combination of spices for many different cooking method whether it’s roasting, baking, grilling or air frying chicken. The best thing about it is it’s made using everyday spices that are most likely already in your pantry. I hope you enjoy!
Make This Homemade Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning
I always start by gathering all of the ingredients needed in a recipe and weighing and measuring everything before I start to cook or bake. This part is really important and key in keeping everything organized.

To make this recipe you need the following spices:
- Fine salt
- Paprika
- White pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Ground black pepper
- Cayenne pepper
You simply mix all of these spices together in a small bowl and then you have your homemade rotisserie chicken seasoning!
Transfer it to an airtight container or glass jar and store for up to 2-3 years.
How Long Do Spices Last?
In general for spices that are stored in airtight containers in a cool and dark place. Whole spices last for up to 4 years. Ground spices for up to 2-3 years. And dried herbs for up to 1-3 years.
Notes & Substitutions
Add Ins: You can also add dried herbs to your seasoning mix such as parsley, thyme, oregano or basil.
Yield: This recipe yields about 200 gr / 7 oz of seasoning. If you want a bigger batch of seasoning, just double or triple the recipe.
Storing: Homemade dried seasoning can be stored in an air tight container or glass jar for up to 2-3 years in a cool dark place.
Gifting: Homemade seasoning blends make great Christmas presents. Prepare a large batch and divide it into small glass jars for homemade gifts that your friends and family can enjoy all year round.
