Grilled Nutella Marshmallow Sandwich

This Grilled Nutella Marshmallow Sandwich is THE perfect comfort food and indulging dessert when you just need something sweet and gooey. Treat yourself to a sandwich that has a fluffy marshmallow melted chocolatey filling and crispy sandwich bread on the outside. It is simply delicious.

Bread Note:

For this recipe you can use any type of bread. White sandwich bread, whole grain, seeded, bakery style bread, sourdough bread etc.

Chocolate Note:


For less sugar alternative to Nutella you could try this chocolate hazelnut spread.

Marshmallow Note:

I use 3-4 large marshmallows on one sandwich but you can also use mini marshmallows.

Unbelievably soft & gooey grilled nutella marshmallow sandwich that is crispy on the outside and perfect when you need something extra sweet!

Ingredients

Scale

2 slices sandwich bread, any bread works
Nutella spread
3-4 large marshmallows
2 tbsp salted butter

Instructions

Spread a layer of Nutella on both slices of bread.

Top 1 slice of bread with whole marshmallows.

Place the other slice of bread on top.

Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium high heat. (cast iron also works)

Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown for 3-5 minutes. Flip to the other side and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden and crispy. Or until the marshmallows are soft. Serve right away!
