Make These Easy Nutella Brownies
I always start by gathering all of the ingredients needed in a recipe and weighing and measuring everything before I start to cook or bake. This part is really important and key in keeping everything organized.
You can find the full printable version of this recipe at the bottom of this post.
- You start by preheating the oven to 175C / 350F. Then grease and line a 8 or 9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- With a mixer (handheld or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment) beat butter until smooth and creamy. Add in the sugar and beat until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating in between each addition.
- Beat in vanilla extract, Nutella and salt until everything is combined.
- With the mixer running on low speed, beat in the flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake in the middle of the oven for 30-32 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing and cutting into squares. Garnish with flaky sea salt and serve.
Store These Easy Nutella Brownies
Store any leftovers of these delicious brownies in an airtight container OR in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
You can also freeze them for 2-3 months. Just thaw them overnight in the refrigerator and then bring them to room temperature before serving.
Notes & Substitutions
Unsalted Butter: Instead of unsalted butter you can use salted butter (just skip the added salt in the recipe then), or same amount of any type of oil.
Granulated Sugar: You can use brown or light brown sugar instead of granulated sugar. You should also be able to use other types of sugar such as coconut sugar or raw cane sugar.
Nutella: Another type of chocolate hazelnut butter can be used instead of Nutella. Or any other smooth nut butter.
All Purpose Flour: You should be able to use other types of flour instead of all purpose flour in this recipe. Also check out my Flourless Nutella Brownies.
