How To Make This Creamy Berry Fruit Salad?

I always start by gathering all of the ingredients needed in a recipe and weighing and measuring everything before I start to cook or bake. This part is really important and key in keeping everything organized.

To make this creamy berry fruit salad you start by adding all of the fruit to a medium bowl and tossing with fresh lemon juice.

Then you stir in the yogurt, vanilla extract, whipped cream and poppy seeds until everything is combined and evenly distributed. Serve right away or place in the fridge until ready to serve!

How To Store This Creamy Berry Fruit Salad?

This creamy berry fruit salad is best served same day but you can store any leftovers covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator.

Notes & Substitutions

Berries – You can use any berries of your choice in this salad. You can also try using cherries or any fresh fruit instead.

Greek Yogurt – I used Greek yogurt in this recipe to mix together with the cream but vanilla yogurt or plain yogurt would also work great.

Heavy Cream – Whipped heavy cream gives this berry salad a fresh creamy taste but for a lighter version, you can also skip the whipped cream and use only Greek yogurt or any other type of yogurt.

Poppy Seeds – Poppy seeds are optional in this recipe but they go really well with the berries and make the salad look extra pretty.

For Dairy Free – Use whipped non dairy cream such a oat cream. And any non dairy yogurt of your choice such as soy, coconut, almond or oat.
