This Classic Banana Bread is the BEST classic banana bread recipe you could want and one of my personal favorite recipes. It’s very simple and just mixed together all in one bowl. A slice of homemade banana bread makes the perfect breakfast or weekend snack. Serve with butter or your favorite banana bread topping.
Banana bread is a great way to use up over ripe bananas sitting on the countertop. They are also naturally high in potassium. There’s so many delicious things you can make from bananas instead of throwing them out such as:
-Banana ice cream
-Banana shake/smoothie
-Banana pancakes
-Upside down banana cake
-Banana muffins
-Banana waffles
-Banana oatmeal
Serving Suggestions
I’m very classic when it comes to banana bread and usually just like to eat it straight with butter on top. But other serving suggestions include:
-BUTTER
-Cheese
-Jam
-Marmalade
-Maple syrup
-Peanut butter
-Almond butter or any nut butter
-Chocolate nut butter
-Don’t forget the glass of your preferred milk!
Baking Tip
If you think your bread is getting too dark in color, you can simply put aluminum foil over the top of it and continue baking it until finished.
I hope you enjoy this classic banana bread recipe as much as I do. And if you make it be sure to leave a comment and/or give it a rating! I’d also love to hear from you on Instagram and see what you make. So if you do, don’t forget to tag @alaingablog

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the oven for 50-55 minutes.

Notes
Instead of using granulated sugar you could use brown sugar, raw cane sugar, coconut sugar, or maple syrup.
And instead of melted butter you can use the same amount of vegetable oil or coconut oil.
